Tier 2 Intra-Company TransferTier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) is for the employees from multinational organizations who are being transferred to the UK branch of that organization. The basic requirements like maintenance and English language as well as the certificate of sponsorship are required. Academic qualifications and prospective earnings can play their part to improve your points. After you may granted a visa you will be able to live for three years in UK.There are 4 sub-categories: 
Long-term staff - for established and skilled employees to be transferred to the UK branch of their organisation for more than 12 months to fill a post that cannot be filled by an individual from the resident workforce.
Short-term staff - for established and skilled employees to be transferred to the UK branch of the organisation for 12 months or less to fill a post that cannot be filled by an individual from the resident workforce.
Graduate trainee - allows transfer of recent graduate employees to a UK branch of the same organisation, as part of a graduate training programme which clearly defines progression towards a managerial or specialist role.
Skills transfer - allows transfer of new graduate employees to a UK branch of the same organisation to learn the skills and knowledge required to perform their job overseas, or to impart their specialist skills or knowledge to the UK workforce.
 The successful candidates from inside or outside the UK can remain in UK for 3 years. Tier 2 (General) Sponsored Workers cannot apply for settlement until they have been in the UK for a continuous period of 5 years in an eligible immigration category. They must pass the Life in the UK Test to show that they have met the minimum knowledge of language and life requirements in the UK for settlement.The dependants of Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) can join them in the UK. The spouse, civil partner or eligible partner and children under 18 can join them as their dependants in the UK.  If the application of the applicant is refused to enter the UK or for extension, he or she may have the chance to appeal for it on the behalf of the detailed printout refusal notice given by the immigration officer.   The applicants are required to lodge their UK Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) at the UK mission in their home country and if the applicants are in the UK and need extension they will have to lodge their application to the UKBA. The UK Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) visa applications may be processed earlier or take much time if the immigration officer recommends interview for the applicant or some other reasons. To avoid any kind of anxious the applicants must lodged their application in advance of their proposed travel date.
